Who We Are & Our Surat Heritage
Located along Surat's bustling Ring Road Textile Zone, EmbDesign was established by senior punchers and textile engineers who spent decades operating industrial Tajima, Barudan, SWF, and Lasser Schiffli machines. While generic stock vector websites sell uncalibrated graphics, EmbDesign exists to provide genuine, production-ready machine files engineered specifically for embroidery factory floors and boutique designers.
Our digitizing facility is equipped with dedicated commercial workstations running licensed Wilcom EmbroideryStudio e4.5 and Tajima DG/ML by Pulse, paired with on-site 20-head flatbed sampling machines where every file is test-sewn before being approved for public release.
Our Master Digitizing Process
Machine embroidery is fundamentally different from vector graphic design. Every needle penetration, pull angle, jump trim, and underlay row must be calculated against the physical behavior of yarn and textile tension. Here is how our studio creates every design in our catalog:
1. Underlay Stabilization
We lay systematic Edge-Run and Tatami lattice underlay beneath heavy satin columns, anchoring the stabilizer to prevent fabric puckering on delicate silks and georgettes.
2. Push-Pull Compensation
Because thread pulls columns inward by 0.3mm–0.5mm, our punchers calibrate exact push-pull allowances so outlines and fills meet with zero registration gaps.
3. Clean Jump & Trim Routing
All traveling stitches are routed under future embroidery areas, minimizing unnecessary machine trims, reducing cycle time, and eliminating loose backside threads.
4. Zari & Metallic Thread Calibration
Indian bridal garments rely heavily on Kasab and metallic Zari threads. We lower density slightly and widen satin radii to eliminate thread-shredding at high machine speeds.
